Custom Jewelry and Repair
Bromberg’s proudly and exclusively offers the work of Master Jeweler, Philip Flenniken, who has been creating amazing custom jewelry and offering expert repair services for Bromberg’s since 1974. We are happy to help you with prongwork, replacing missing stones, resizing, replacing clasps, and many other repairs in gold and platinum.

What to expect with your custom jewelry work: A sales associate or Philip himself will guide you through the design process from the first sketches to picking out stones. You will be presented an estimate for approval then Philip will bring your design to life. Your new piece of jewelry will come in a beautiful Bromberg’s box and with an insurance appraisal.

What to expect with your jewelry repair: A repair associate will take photos of your piece, collect your infomation, and help you determine an insurance value for your jewelry while it is in our possession. You’ll receive a repair ticket, and your jewelry will remain in our safe and under careful watch. If you prefer an estimate before the work is done, a repair associate will contact you with a price and timeframe for you to approve before our jeweler begins work. Since every piece of jewelry is unique, each job is examined individually before an estimate is given. Typical repairs take approximately two weeks.

Pearl Restringing
Since pearls are strung on natural threads, we recommend restringing your necklaces and bracelets every couple of years. If you notice your pearls are loose on the threads or see the thread is dirty, it’s time for restringing. Restringing costs $2.50-$3.00 per inch and typically takes three weeks.
