The 24 Hours of Le Mans is the world’s oldest, most prestigious endurance race, which this year celebrates its centenary. Since 1923, Le Mans has attracted some of the greatest names in motor sport, testing their physical and mental stamina as well as the reliability of the machines. This mythical contest represents a century of technological advancements, including the requirement now for all cars to run on 100 percent renewable biofuel. Rolex has been the race’s Official Timepiece for more than 20 years, and since 2007, the winning drivers have received a specially engraved Oyster Perpetual Cosmograph Daytona.
