The inspiration for William Yeowards new collection for American Bar is Palmyra Atoll, which is to be found in the Pacific Ocean about 1000 miles south of Hawaii. Although Palmyra is technically uninhabited, for the past 15 years it has been maintained as a Research Center for the study of the marine environment, in particular the pristine coral reefs and sea turtles that abound on Palmyra.
